Delivery and Returns
All orders dispatched from our Hitchin depot are shipped using reliable corporate couriers and will require a signature upon delivery. Orders sent directly from a manufacturer or distributor may be delivered via an alternative carrier.
If no one is available to sign for the parcel, the courier will normally leave a calling card with instructions on how to rearrange delivery or where the item can be collected. Parcels cannot be left unattended, but you may provide an alternative delivery address at checkout—such as a neighbour, family member, or workplace.
Delivery Outside Mainland Great Britain
Delivery charges apply to Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, UK Highlands, and UK Islands. Some EU and international destinations can be arranged on request.
Please note that final delivery costs may differ from the prices shown at checkout. If this occurs, we will contact you to provide the best available shipping rate.
Dispatch Times
We aim to dispatch orders received before midday (Mon–Fri) on the same day. Orders placed after 2pm are usually dispatched the next working day.
Shipment Policy
When you place an order, we’ll provide an estimated dispatch and delivery timeframe based on product availability and the delivery option selected.
Any damage occurring in transit must be reported to Towequip as soon as possible so we can arrange collection and replacement with our courier.
Returns Policy
You may return items in their original, resaleable condition within 14 days of receiving your order. A full refund will be issued for the product price; however, carriage charges are non‑refundable.
Returned items must be suitable for resale—this includes being unworn, unmarked, and complete with all tags and packaging. Items supplied in boxes (e.g., safety boots) must be returned with the box intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
If you receive a damaged or defective item, you must notify Towequip within 24 hours of delivery and return the item within 7 days. A replacement will be issued once the item has been received and inspected.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Your Statutory Rights
Under UK consumer law, you have a cooling‑off period during which you may return standard stock items within 30 days of receipt if you are unhappy with your purchase.
This does not apply to items that are custom‑made, specially ordered, or marked with an availability notice indicating they are produced to order.
Unless the item was delivered in error or is defective, you are responsible for the cost of returning goods.
