Commonly known as “Suzies”, these coiled air lines are mounted at the rear of the tractor unit and are essential during coupling and uncoupling. Each vehicle uses two colour‑coded lines for quick identification and safe operation:
- Red Air Line (Emergency Line): Supplies emergency braking and air feed
- Yellow Air Line (Service Line): Delivers compressed air to operate trailer brakes (includes lifter)
